An individual therapy session at Rooted Haven is a calm, supportive space centered entirely on you. We begin by checking in—how you’re feeling, what’s been coming up, and what you need most that day. From there, we move at your pace, exploring your experiences with a mix of gentle conversation, reflective questions, and evidence-based tools.

You’ll have room to share freely while I help you make sense of patterns, emotions, and thoughts that may feel heavy or confusing. We might work on grounding strategies, cognitive-based skills, or compassionate reframing—always in a way that feels collaborative and tailored to your needs.

Each session is an opportunity to slow down, feel understood, and build the emotional clarity and support you deserve. It’s your time to be held, healed, and rooted—one step at a time.

Small Group Support Sessions

Small group therapy at Rooted Haven offers a supportive, connected space where mothers can heal and grow alongside others who truly understand their season of life. Each group meets in a calm, welcoming environment designed to foster safety, honesty, and community.

Sessions typically begin with a gentle check-in, followed by guided discussion, practical skill-building, and reflective exercises rooted in evidence-based approaches. You’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences, listen to others, and feel held by a circle of women navigating similar challenges. Participation is always at your comfort level—there’s never pressure to speak more than you want.

Rebirth package

A restorative healing experience for mothers/partners processing a birth that felt overwhelming, unexpected, or less than desired.

The Rebirth Package is a gentle, collaborative offering created by a licensed mental health counselor and an experienced midwife—designed specifically for mothers who are seeking emotional repair, clarity, and re-connection after a difficult or disappointing birth experience.

This package honors both the heart and the body of your story. Together, we help you understand what happened, name what was lost or unmet, and reclaim the parts of yourself that still feel shaken or unfinished. Through therapeutic conversation, birth processing, and supportive education, you are invited to revisit your experience in a safe, guided way that brings relief instead of re-traumatization.

What you can expect:

  • A compassionate retelling of your birth story with space for validation, grief, and meaning-making.

  • Mind-body grounding practices to soften tension, ease anxiety, and restore a sense of safety.

  • Clarification of medical events and birth details so you can understand the “why” behind what happened.
